Black Drama database needs your help
May 4th, 2003
This project was brought to my attention by Peter Scott’s Library Weblog.
Alexander Street Press needs help identifying lost, rare, and previously unpublished plays by major black writers. Over 200 lost plays have been identified in the last two years, and seven more have been identified since they announced this call for assistance. On their web page there is a list of plays that they are trying to identify.
If you help identify materials for this database, your assistance, of course, will be acknowledged, and you will have the satisfaction of being part of a project to preserve and provide access to important historical and literary documents.
