I really like your idea of a card swap table. Maybe even something random like toss a card into a fishbowl and take one out. Meet a new blogger that way...

Wow! What an unexpected response to (what I thought) was just another post about how quirky and strange I can be sometimes. I wish that I had known that there were other bloggers with hand-crafted cards at BloggerCon. We could have all swapped cards.

Perhaps, a card-swap session (or table) should be part of any future blogging conference. I would have loved to have organized something like that--if only I had thought about it beforehand!

In response to Amanda's question, I would never sell them, but if anyone wants a card for free, I will gladly give them one. Although I love craft projects, I am not talented enough to charge for my work--at least, not yet ;-).

I feel your pain. I realized on Friday afternoon that I hadn't bought the Blogcards as I had intended and my domain name is hard to spell and remember. So I ran out to AC Moore, got mottled brown cardstock and commenced jamming up my printer with it. But I did end up with about 30 printed cards to which I glued tiny 3D colored paper flowers.

And I didn't have a single opportunity to use them either!

Vernica, I'd love to collect your cards. Will you be selling them?

Your cards sound lovely. I have always liked the cartoon girl that appeared on your blog (although your new sophisticated look is good, too).

Oh my god, that's exactly what I did! Down to the celery paper! (I also used some "kraft" cardstock, also from Paper Source.) I wish we'd met; your cards sound goddamn adorable. (Mine just had sushi grass and a Sei Shonagon quote.)
