Notes from the Windowsill

December 31st, 2004

When I read the Kid’s Lit post about Notes from the Windowsill today , I was surprised that this site had escaped my attention. Notes from the Windowsill, formerly WEB Online Review, is an online book review journal edited by Wendy E. Betts, “celebrating children’s books loved by adult readers”. Betts, who previously edited the print newsletter The WEB, is a librarian and long-time collector of classic children’s books. Although she reviews many new books, she focuses on classic children’s books and reprints of favorites.

What a delightful discovery for the new year! I will enjoy reading new issues and catching up with all of the old issues.
