As promised, I have a Reading to Rowan update. Yesterday, Lisa Williams posted the holiday installment of her show, selecting the holiday classic ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas as the featured reading. Visit Learning the Lessons of Nixon to listen to the MP3 and to subscribe to Lisa’s podcast feed.

Earlier this month, recent Simmons GSLIS graduate, Steve Butzel started DRIZZLE, a weblog for archivists and records managers. This new weblog is inspired by Peter Kurilecz’s RAIN posts on the Archives and Archivists listserv (and, until last August, re-posted at the Society of Georgia Archivists web site). Currently, Steve is maintaining the weblog, but he will recruit co-authors in the near future.
When I wrote about my wish for a RAIN weblog in January, many people commented, so I hope that this new RAIN-inspired weblog will be very successful. Welcome and good luck, Steve!

Lisa Williams is looking for children’s book authors to participate in an online radio show called Reading to Rowan. Please leave a comment on her weblog if you are an author, would like to be an author, or know authors who may be interested. No one has volunteered yet –at least, publicly–and I think that it would be sad if this delightful idea does not come to fruition.
I wish that I had the time (and creative energy) to participate. *sigh* Anyhow, I will post another message when this show starts broadcasting.
