Redundant American Muslim Groups

There are so many evolving Muslim American and Pakistani American groups out there, with so many acronyms.  Its so annoying how so many people are just trying to do the same thing all at once, and claim some sort of pathetic national following.  What’s even more annoying is how they blur into each other — on group collapses and the evolves into a different group.

It is all really hard to keep up with, and very annoying.

Pak-PAC apparently no longer exists. Now its PAL-C (Pakistan American Liasion Center)

What is the real difference between the Pakistani American Congress and National Council of Pakistani Americans?

And what was once the AMPCC (American Muslim Political Coordinating Council) is now aparently AMT (American Muslim Taskforce).

It’s really too much.  ENOUGH!!!  Somehow every wealthy doctor who has some extra time and citizenship can get a website, add you to his e-mail list without your consent, incorporate a non-profit and then claim to represent you.

I don’t actually know why I’m leaving a message accept that my name is Wasim too. i am from the UK. I am in the process of setting up my own website at http://www.wasims.com

It’s a bit empty at the moment but there will be plenty of shops on there. I am a student at The Buckinghamshire University College in a town called High Wycombe about a 35 min train ride away from Central London. I’m studying for a BA(Hons)Design for Digital Media.

this is really wierd but I’m going to make a link on my website that lists all tallented ‘Wasims’ in the world. If you want to be listed together with your skills let me know.

It’s just a fun thing really.
