First post!
Welcome to the blog for Harvard Law’s “The Web Difference” (webdiff) course. This is intended to be a blog by all participants in the course on the topics of the course. If you’re a student in the class, during the first session we’ll tell you how to register with this blog so that you can post at it also.
It’s the Friday before the beginning of the course. I am looking forward to it – only slightly (i.e., completely) nervous since I haven’t taught a college course in 22 years - because it will challenge assumptions I’ve gotten lazy about. Is the Web substantially and significantly different from what came before it? Is it transformational, over-hyped, both or none of the above? I’ve sure got my presumptions going in, but I don’t expect them to last long. At least I hope not.
