Hey, my piss came out alright. Whassup? !! (Or, I see: you mean the asterisks made everything bold…)

Anywho.
What I find interesting: I don’t like conspiracy theories, generally speaking. And when I first read the Adbusters thing, I thought, “hm, interesting, but …” I didn’t know about Drury’s work at all. But having read about her work now, I’m much more willing to accept that Strauss has had incredible influence. And what really kills me is that it’s a fairly exclusively male cabal — imagine if Hannah Arendt had accepted his attentions: what would Strauss have come up with instead?? How would things be different had the intellectually beautiful Arendt found her way to finding in Strauss a suitably attractive mate? The Dark Prince or whatever he’s called (Perle) might be playing a completely different game. Who knew that so much could depend on love? Why don’t we know that everything depends on love?
