It is truly shameful. It will be interesting to see what we the citizens of the U.S. are able to do about this. First, we will have to stay engaged more than a few weeks. Already, many have allowed the rising gas prices distract them from the assault on humanity in New Orleans.  Perhaps, the shame of Katrina will hold our attention longer than the anger of 911.</description>
