We are facing not only rising gas prices around here in the North Bay of the SF area, but there is talk of raising bridge tolls considerably, including slapping on a congestion toll. 
Meanwhile, millions are being spent on widening the freeway (the only way in and out of this area), instead of developing alternate routes and alternate forms of transportation. 

Then again, by the sheer number of Hummers and other SUVs on the road here, rising prices don't seem to be much of a concern for most of Marin's population....</description>
