Swimming through School
During my undergraduate years at Harvard I was not fortunate enough to qualify for any scholarships, but tried and tried I did. It was a bit scary to know I would be literally swimming in student debt by the time I was looking to apply to HBS. I could not locate an on campus job that was appealing, and there was no chance I would allow an outside job schedule to disrupt my studies. A friend suggested I use my design skills to find freelance work. After 2 weeks of searching, I landed a design job for a Texas pool service company that was growing rapidly and was in constant need of new pool brochures and pool cleaning photo touch-ups. Here are some of the styles I helped to pioneer. Looking at these joyful pool sites brings back pleasant student memories of grinding through the weeks.
