Facilitators:Content Workstream co-chair Rachel Frick and DPLA Director for Content Emily Gore.This session will focus on the DPLA’s content infrastructure and the new Digital Hubs Pilot Program, including next steps. Specific topics of discussion include key service offerings via the DPLA’s pilot service hubs, data provider agreements with content hubs, related technical considerations, and the DPLA’s long-term content plan.

Facilitators:Technical Aspects Workstream co-chairs Martin Kalfatovic and Sam Klein.This session will give participants an opportunity to discuss the development of the DPLA platform and front-end website with Technical Development Project Manager Jeff Licht and members of the front-end and back-end development teams. Specific topics of discussion include integration of the platform and front end, metadata considerations, data ingestion, and other related items.

Participants will review and discuss the DPLA’s five-year plan as it relates to recent project developments and refined timetables.

This session will synthesize the most salient threads from the morning and early afternoon sessions and will aim to articulate clearly the issues and key elements we’ve identified. Participants will work together to map out an approach for addressing these issues and elements over the next six months, in preparation for the launch of the DPLA.
